WesTech Engineering, Inc. of Salt Lake City, Utah will supply four new 195 ft. diameter COP™ clarifiers and replace the six existing 195 ft. diameter clarifiers with their proprietary COP™ Clarifier design for the Miami-Dade County South District WWTP. Located in Miami Florida, the South District Wastewater Treatment Plant has a current capacity of 112 million gallons per day (MGD) of treated water. The new clarifiers will be a key part of an expansion that will increase the plant capacity to a peak flow of 285 MGD to meet increased demand caused by population growth and regulatory requirements.
